Introduction into Photovoltaic- Paddock
Pro-Eco Consult presented an Introductory course on the functionality of photovoltaic systems.
25 participants attended the course in Paddock at the Farmers Club and which was hosted by the Southern Natal Macademia Farmers Club
Participants learned about the different photovoltaic system types such as grid-tied, back u and off-grid systems. Their advantages and disadvantages from a farmers perspective have been explained and discussed in length.
Substantial electricity is consumed during certain stage of the Macademia farming, harvesting and processing.
Photovoltaic can not only provide a sustainable solution but also a solution with calculable electricity costs over the life time of PV-plants. |

Recycling Training - Limpopo
During the employment at "Knoten Weimar GmbH" in Germany as well as the "Bauhaus Universitaet Weimar" in Germany, main member Manja Schubert conducted a one year pilot project in a rural community in the Province Limpopo. |

PV-Training - Durban
Pro-Eco Consult established on behalf of DGS in Germany as well as Maxx Solar & Energy the Maxx-Solar Academy in South Africa.
Since its launch in April 2012 in Cape Town and Johannesburg, training facilities in Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Johannesburg have been established.
In the past 2 years more than 600 participants attended the training programms at the different sies
The training programms offers the following courses:
- Solar Power Technician Course
- Solar Power Designer Course (grid tied)
- Solar Power Designer Course (off-grid)
- Solar Power Installer Course
- Solar Power Consultant Course
In Durban, Solar Power training is provided by Pro-Eco Consult.
In order to add a little bit of extra to our courses, we usually invite some experts or go for day-visits.
In the past we have invited Infinity Renewable to introduce us to one of their installations.
We also invited Dr. Ronald Lang from 9-om as guest speaker. He gave us closer insight to the pv-module manufacturing processes. ArtSolar has been one of Pro-Eco Consults sponsors. This allowed us to offer a PV factory tour during one of our courses.

Introduction into Photovoltaic- Kokstad
Pro-Eco Consult presented togehter with 9-om an Introductory course on the functionality of photovoltaic systems.
21 participants attended the course in Kokstad, which was hosted and sponsored by the Old Orchard guesthouse.
Participants during this half day programm learned about the different photovoltaic system types such as grid-tied, back u and off-grid systems. Their advantages and disadvantages have been explained and discussed in length.
Kokstad is an area meanly supplied with electricity from Eskom directly. The majority of Kokstad population lives on farms and plots. Hence their main income is generated on the farm. Having a secure electricity supply and knowlegde of the related electricity cost is essential for the success of their businesses.
